2016 Alberta Summer Games - Leduc Alberta

Big thanks to all the volunteers who helped put together a fantastic event in Leduc.

The weather was mostly cooperative and the events went off with minimal delays.

This is a great start for some of our young competitors whether they continue with whitewater slalom or canoe polo this event was hopefully an inspiring experience for them and they will look fondly back onto it when they make it to the national or international levels of competition like so many of us have already.

Checkout the great photos on our Facebook page.

Casino Aug 8-9/2016

The association is still looking for volunteers to work some shifts at our Casino to be held Aug 8 and 9/2016.

As per our new funding policy, clubs who wish to request funding for events, equipment or out of province travel, need to work at least 2 shift at the casino.

If your club has not yet made a commitment for your 2 or more shifts, we need to hear from you before the end of May.

We still have many spots available, and anyone can work on behalf of your club.
Accommodation and travel are covered, and no experience is needed.

2015 Canadian Club Championships

The 2015 Canoe Polo Canadian Club Championships are now history, and the event was very well run by JC and his crew out of Valleyfield QC.

Many new faces were present and hopefully this indicates a rising trend in our sport in Canada.

Many thanks to all the Albertans who travelled to Quebec for this event and performed very well.

Results - 2013 World Master Games - Alberta wins Gold !

The 2103 World Master Games were held in Turin Italy and one team from Alberta, The Crunch, went to compete in this large multi-sports event occurring only once every 4 years.

The same team which competed and won Gold in Edmonton at the 2005 World Master Games when Edmonton hosted the games, and which won Gold again in the 2009 World Master Games in Sidney Australia, has won its 3rd Gold Medal in Turin Italy.

The format of the 2013 Canoe Polo event created a situation where all the registered teams played each other, both recreational and competitive, and both age groups as well.
